☛ Infiniti M45 launch package. This ’03 full-size sedan was dubbed “The muscle car wih brains.” As did the print advertising, the mini brochure in the package began with an “Ode to the Muscle Car,” written in verse, extolling the muscle car’s love of power combined with the M45’s benefits of modern technology as embodied in the vehicle specs. Also included were a financing pre-approval certificate, a test-drive incentive and a a 7-minute DVD film entitled “Born Again Muscle Car”--an exciting, tongue-in-cheek  fantasy street race between the M45 and a 60’s muscle car, preceded by perhaps the longest legal disclaimer in the history of automotive videos. An added commentary track featured the voice of the stunt driver, Terry James, who put the M45 through its visceral and impressive paces☚
